CRY Uganda has a series of plans for the future. These include:
- Partner with Musicians Without Borders to conduct free music for peace workshops in Uganda
- Working with the youth, children and adults from Panok Rac Parish- Aleso Sub county in Amuru district of northern Uganda to provide access to primary education and educate children and youth in non violence
- Set up a youth a comprehensive community youth vocational centre in Lamogi sub county, Amuru district;
- Work with EU youth peace theatre groups and debate clubs and debate partners schools in Uganda to take Uganda debate to a higher level
- prepare and take Ugandan student debate teams to African Schools Debate Championships (ASDC) in Johannesburg, South Africa; to Hearts of Europe debate tournament in Checz Rep, to World Universities debate championships in Botswana (December 2010)
- Take Team Uganda to Dundee 2011 World Schools Debate Championships (WSDC) in Scotland.
- Developing the African Debate Council for deepening dialogue, debate, tolerance and democracy in Africa;
- The expansion and building of strategic partnerships with South Sudan, Kajo-Keji and Magwei counties (near the Uganda border) as well as in the rest of Sudan
- The holding of annual regional youth peace camps in September.
- The commemoration of the UN international day for peace 21st September.
- Rolling out the youth debate development programme.
- Follow up of Peace comm project in Asia and Africa for Afro-Asian youth exchange.
- Implementation of resource mobilization strategy for youth peace programmes.
- The building of strategic partnerships, collaborations for youth/children-led peace building.
- The facilitation of children and youth participation in peace building and development programmes.
- promoting the Justice,Law and Peace programme for youth
- further the professional International youth exchanges on conflict transformation
- run micro-finance for youth
- hold extra-ordinary general meeting
- Coordinate the national youth dialogue on peace, security, and good governance in Uganda
- Debate tournaments
- Debate training in World Schools Debate Championship format
