Willamette University, the International Debate Education Association (IDEA) and Conflict Resolution by Youth (CRY) Uganda are partnering in the Critical Thinking Across Cultures (CTAC) Project. With financial support from the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the United States Department of State. The CTAC Project is a three-week exchange for students from Uganda to Salem, Oregon in the USA and the reciprocal exchange of U.S. students to Uganda.  The aim of the Critical Thinking Across Cultures (CTAC) project is to develop a sense of civic responsibility and commitment to community development among youth from Uganda and the United States. Through a program of debate education, the CTAC program is aimed at developing youth leadership skills, such as critical thinking, logical analysis, research and public speaking (www.idebate.org/ctac)
