CRY Uganda is the coordinating centre for the Eastern Uganda Youth Link (EUYL). This is a policy advocacy youth network in eastern Uganda that addresses issues of human security, human rights, peace building, poverty eradication and sub issues such as farmers' right to seed. EUYL is a rare programme that brought together youth from warring ethnic groups that included the Karimojong and their bitter neighbours of Teso, Sebei and Bugisu, to work together in order to create a common policy advocacy agenda. Members to the EUYL are nominees from civil society organisations from eastern Uganda. Some of the participating CSOs are Association for World Education- Uganda Chapter, CRY Uganda, Katakwi-Urafiki Foundation, Uganda Red Cross, Soroti office, Kumi, Soroti, Kaberamaido, Macedonia Jazz Band and Katakwi disctrict councils, TESDA, Teso Initiative for Peace/OCODI, Teso Women Peace Activisits, She PeaceMakers, to name a few. ActionAid International Uganda funded this programme under its eastern region office.
